Ever more people mostly use the internet for information from free extensive encyclopedias. Very well known of these is wikipedia, a project to create a free encyclopedia, with which everyone can better their knowledge.
For Product Manufacturers and Suppliers, encyclopedias are a sensible entrance point into EduCommerce, since specialist manufacturer knowledge is useful for many target groups. In the Project, it helps for example, Product managers, Work Operatives, Training Department and the Customer Hotline. Externally, a good online encyclopedia can help support the different depictions of the products, to obtain high access numbers and good placing on Google and gains trust within a market.

Wikipedia is a project to create a free encyclopedia in more the 200 languages. Anyone can use it to improve their knowledge. Since May 2001, there have been articles available in German. Any Good Author is welcome to post an article. Topics such as Geography, History, Business, Art, Religion, Sport, Technology and Economics can be found here and are also very useful, for relevant information to aid a product purchase.
